Daily Walk Photo | Transitions

This the kind of image that I don’t think most people will like or get what I’m trying to do by making the photo in the first place. There was something about this composition the caught my while on this mornings walk. I stopped, raised my Nikon D7100 camera with a 55mm lens, focused, pressed the shutter button, one frame and I was on my way.

This image of foliage transitioning from autumn to the winter season works for a project that I’ve been contemplating for awhile. It’s not pretty and its chaotic but I still can’t take my eyes off it when I have it on the screen. This will be one of those photos I will need to live with for awhile to see if over time I still find it compelling.

This is the kind of experimental imagery you can expect to see on my blog from time to time.
